Jonathan Reichental, Author Data Governance for Dummies talks about why data governance is an issue today, what it is and its link to accountability. What does data governance mean? Why is it important? How is responsible for data? Which departments and functions should be involved? What is the difference between data governance and data management? While working with data and in data flows in any way, how to preserve human dignity and integrity including for instance privacy, data protection, data sovereignty and trust. And, why and where does accountability come in?
