The board of the Institute for Accountability in the Digital Age (I4ADA) is pleased to announce that the board of ICANN has selected Maarten Botterman as their next chair. Maarten is one of the founding board members of I4ADA. As a global future internet expert and ICANN director he plays a key role in helping to raise awareness for the need for accountability in the digital age. As a consequence he will leave a number of his current positions including his position as I4ADA (co-founding) board member.

The board of I4ADA congratulates Maarten Botterman for this prestigious appointment and wishes him well in taking ICANN to the future of the internet. We will remain in contact and will work on Accountability in the Digital Age.
