What is space environmentalism? How to make space and the use thereof more sustainable, in particular to address space garbage? Which international or other governance and accountability schemes and mechanism are applicable in that realm? To what extent do these work? Where are the gaps? How to address those gaps? How to increase transparency, predictability and accountability? While also space technology development and the increasing proliferation of space assets are outpacing accountability and Rule of Law development, how to catch up – and keep up? What other parallels can be identified between development concerning space and those concerning the global internet and this Digital Age?

Moriba Jah is a Astrodynamicist and Space Environmentalist who discusses accountability in space and the paralel with the Digital world.
