What is IoT, and what are consumer IoT products? What data do IoT vendors collect, and which data flows are generated? Why are these often obscure, with no or low levels of accountability? What happens with the data collected by IoT devices? What are possible reasons that vendors not transparant about what they do with customer data? What does that mean for trust and accountability in the IoT ecosystems?

Anna Ida Hudig is a researcher at the University of Cambridge.
